Opticsens Perimeter Security Sensors.
The Opticsens perimeter sensor is an eight zone sensor that can be used
for optical or electrical vibration distributed sensing. The zones operate independent from
each other and sensitivity levels can be optimized for specific detection elements.
The optical fiber perimeter sensor can reach up to 6.4 km zone length wile the distributed
electrical vibration perimeter sensor a length of only 100m.

Perimeter Security Sensor Communication Specifications.
The Perimeter security serial data acquisition interface
allows control of 8 digital I/O lines and 8, 12-bit analog inputs, two analog
outputs and one event counter via an RS232 or RS485 link.
The security data
acquisition interfaces are daisy chainable up to ten units (80 zones with length 0 to 6.4km). All boards contain
RS232 to RS485 converters.
